  • LAB ART & Free Tattoos

    The weekend passed like it was never there. That’s how fast it went and the highlight was without doubt Saturday night’s event at LAB ART on LaBrea right here in LA. The gallery did a joint venture with the infamous tattoo artists ‘Black Banditz’, who are located on Melrose and where most of my tattoo crazed friends get their ink done. On this specific night the Banditz donated free ink all night. No kidding! And trust me, they were beyond busy. In the backroom was an ice cream truck and Rony’s Photobooth was on the spot to document the evening as well.

    If I’m in town, and in need of some visual inspiration Iskander Lemseffer’s (the owner) events at LAB ART is a good place to drop by. The scene is a cool happening mix of art lovers and collectors, artists, celebrities and the ‘Hollywood in-crowd’. On this specific night the crowd was younger and more hipster than usual. A no brainer since so many came to get some free ink. Two of my girl friends got work done. I was a happy camper just to stand by and watch white wine on ice in hand.

    I’m looking forward to see what LAB ART has up the sleeve next time and I’ll make sure to be there and document it with my Canon G12 …

Blogger Snatches Object Campaign

The latest trends and ideas are online within seconds. New looks, thoughts and dreams are lived out instantly. Bloggers have slowly become an important part of the news industry where subjective taste, style, fashion and thoughts are being pushed into the World Wide Web without further ado. Blogging is a great window of potential inspiration and fascination for a curious mind. Some bloggers have become trendsetters and style icons by just living their 'normal' lives and then blogging about it.

Yes, Juli Molnar is a model living in London, but she is more than just a pretty face. She is a working fashion journalist, blogger and most importantly a normal girl with big dreams that she is not afraid to follow.
Object has decided to dedicate their campaign to the blogger universe and make the Object Universe all about Juli and her life in London town (City). 'Be a first class version of yourself, rather than a second class version of someone else' is a saying we stand by this season. Be yourself, express yourself and remember that not even the sky is the limit.

The moves like Jagger


Raw edges, asymmetric shapes, shiny, golden surfaces, skin-tight leather, flowing garments, chiffon, lace, corsage-inspired tops and dresses. Studio 54 revival hits hard this Winter and makes us wanna move like Jagger.
